Open Science

Open Science (OS) refers to the unrestricted and free access to and the exchange of scientific knowledge and data over the Internet. The action areas within Open Science include, among others, access to research data (Open Data) and scientific publications (Open Access). The Open Science movement recognises the possibilities of digitalisation as an opportunity to make science more transparent, accessible and collaborative.
